I have no idea what is true or fabrication . Having said that there has never been any prior accusations or even rumors Of Coach Rocha mistreating players in any way dating back to her Gator days . I hope the truth whatever it may be is quickly revealed .

This looks like fake news especially since this second article says that Canady went to the Texas Longhorns.

I DO KNOW the first article is by a site that is ".uk" thus not .com and from the United Kingdom. Why on earth would a UK site know ANYTHING about softball in Oklahoma?

The second site is only a little less odd in its listing, but as pointed out claimed Canady went to texsa rather than tech.

Finally, with NO one associated with OU quoted, it's as factually based as a UFO taking Rocha from second base at Love's Field.

Some fake news guy's AI went off the deep end......

If there was any smoke to that story softball and local media would be talking about it.

The article is dated July 27 and we have not heard any rumors? I doubt that would be the case if the article was true.

I took a quick glance at the OU Softball page on Sooner Sports. Rocha is still there. They are usually very quick about updating any player or coaching changes.

The first time I saw this crap was on a post over on the 247 board, by someone I'd never heard of.
I went back to check follow-ups this morning and it has since disappeared. So apparently the MODs over on that board shut it down and removed the thread.

Hopefully that now brings this to a close.

I am so glad this was the bullshot I thought it was , however the tiny voice in my head whispered what if it is true? Nightmare avoided .

My guess is that this is just another bad rumor. It there was any truth in it, our friends at the Oklahoman would have been all over it.
