I must admit that as I researched the changes for Coach Skip Johnson's Sooners, I did not realize that they had as much of a transformation as the OU Softball Team had. I had noticed that several players signed with MLB, but it did not soak in until today.

From the roster last year, or more specifically their stat sheet for the 2024 season, the Sooners have lost 20 players. Twenty players that contributed in some way to the Sooners NCAA Regional Team in 2024. That is a great deal of change.

The 2024-2025 Roster is made up of 13 returning players (10 of which were principal players) and 16 transfers and 16 freshman. That is quite a mix.

The Sooners will play 3 "World Series" games this fall All games are at L/Dale Mitchell Park..

• The first game is on Friday, Nov 1st at 6 PM.

• The seocnd game is on Monday, Nov 4th at 3 PM.

• The third game is on Wednesday, Nov 6th at 3 PM.

I hope there is some sort of recap or box score from the games for thsoe who cannot be there due to other OU sporting events or that do not live locally.
