Me neither China....and maybe throw the Medic crew in there with 'em....just didn't seem right there either----seemed to me like they were afraid to give anybody the go ahead out of fear of being sued or something.....maybe not that, but like with the WR's,....something just seemed out sorts to me.

...I do not KNOW anything specific, but I heard Teddy Lehman address the idea that maybe some of the injured WR's "could have played" even if nicked up a little...
-but deliberately chose not to,...for whatever reason.
Really hate to even consider that may have been true.
Everyone that plays football plays hurt at some point.
.
BUT...if there's even the slightest chance that ANY of those now departed WR's "chose not to play when they could have" I'm gl;ad they're gone!

IF that were the case, they should lose their NIL money! Being paid to be a coward is just WRONG!

I know Burks gave it a try a game or 2 and he's back for the Bowl game. I think Anderson came in a game, but left, supposedly having alot of pain. Those 2 I think TRIED to play. The others I don't know

9 Rutgers players entered the portal today. Bunch of withdrawals today. Still 1,000 plus players in the portal! Amazing. I guess most will be quitting football. Crazy.

There is pretty much nothing left in the portal to make up for what we lost.

Holy Moly! It’s actually 5,000 plus players in the portal! Estimated that 500-700 will be granted another year of eligibility soon. Just wow. Trimming down to 105 from 120 in the spring will flood it even more.

And again. Nothing much left in the portal that would move the needle. Just body replacements at this point. There’s a handful but OU is not projected to get any of them.

Hope I’m wrong. I really hope I’m wrong. 😑

Right there with you about hoping to be wrong. My hope is there will be some from the current playoff teams that portal after they play their last game that we can snag. We desperately need some O-line, D-line, secondary and wrs that are SEC ready and not some G5 or lower players that we hope will be SEC contributors. We already have plenty of those on the team.

From what I gather they don’t have enough money to add much more top talent, maybe some people will wake up after yesterday but I’m not sure reality has set in.

Maybe they should have spent less money on all the unattended OU to the SEC party’s earlier this year and all the OUxSEC signs all over the place. If the money thing is true that is unacceptable. They had years to build that up knowing what was coming. All involved should be fired if true.

Yeah we are gonna take the SEC by storm next year with these transfers from Kennesaw State, UA-Pine Bluff, Western Carolina, and Pittsburg State.

And now it’s being reported that Zac Alley is leaving for West Virginia. A lateral move to a lower-level conference. He spent 1 year with BV and said “no thanks”.

Something is rotten within the program.

He was the Co-DC. He’s going to be the boss at WV. How’s that a lateral move? 🙃
